Our Men’s Ministry is based off of Proverbs 27:17 – As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. The men of Faith and Victory Church meet throughout the year and come together and sharpen each other with worship, preaching, and fellowship with other men. We love to spend time together as Men.
The men’s ministry exists to empower and equip men to be the leaders that God has called them to be. Our passion is to partner with men as they endeavor to grow in their relationship with Christ as they learn what it means to be a Godly Man. We do this through relationships that are built through our events throughout the year, and are sustained through the weekly worship services, small groups, and our men’s bible study.
FVC Men’s Advance
At Faith and Victory Church our men meet yearly for our three day men’s advance (we don’t call it a retreat because men never retreat). This is a time for men to come together and break free of the things that are holding them back in their jobs, work, family and church life.
Each year has a theme and a cast of characters. Past themes have been Army of God, Wrestling, Super Fans, Down with the King, and the A-Team. You never know what’s going to happen at a men’s advance but you do know it will be a time of faith building, building connections with other men, and a whole lot of fun. The Men’s Advance typically happens the last weekend in March. Signups will begin in January or February so make sure to watch the video announcements and the FVC Facebook page.
The men’s advance costs $100. That covers food, t-shirt, and lodging. We want you to attend because in the past we’ve seen men’s lives changed. If finances are an issue there are scholarships available, just ask one of the pastors.
FVC Brotherhood is men learning about God’s design for manhood, making a plan and putting it into action. Men will build relationships, have accountability and grow into the Godly Men God has called them to be. The FVC Brotherhood meets twice a month – 1st Saturday of the month (no childcare) at 9 AM in the AMC and also the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM in the AMC (childcare available). Deacon Brian Faith leads the FVC Brotherhood, please contact him if you have any questions.
