Pastor Amber, Kids and JR Helpers of Faith and Victory Church

At Faith and Victory Church our Victory Kids are ages newborn to 5th grade.  Our Children’s Ministry Leader, Pastor Amber Webster, provides a bible centered, fun filled curriculum for each age range.  To ensure the safety of each child they are checked via our child check in system at the beginning of service and checked out at the end.  Both our safety team and our children’s ministry workers have been trained in CPR if any emergency should arise.  For babies and toddlers you will be assigned a pager as so you can be paged if your help is needed.

Victory Kids Classes

Nursery – Nothing serves as so precious a reminder of God’s blessing to us as the birth of a child. Every newborn baby should have the joy and privilege of being brought into a truly Christian home. We strive to provide all the help possible to parents as they seek to serve the Lord.

Busy Bees (Toddler room ages 3 – pre-k) – This is the time in a young child’s life when they learn through play. This class is geared toward songs, games, stories and activities that teach our Auburn WA Church Kids about God on a level they can enjoy and understand.

Kindergarten – This class is where the beginning of the true bible fundamentals are laid down. This class uses a variety of stories, music and visual aides to gain and hold the child’s attention, while never leaving the Word of God.

First – Fifth Grade – For our first through fifth graders our mission is to provide biblical teachings and instructions in a loving and caring environment where Auburn WA Church Kids can be drawn to Jesus Christ and learn to seek Him earnestly, serve Him faithfully, and share Him boldly with others.

Curriculum

Our classrooms have structured lessons and activities showing children that the Bible is true, and that Jesus is our Creator and Savior!  We use the Orange 252 Basics curriculum, where students will be equipped to defend the Bible, and become conformed to the image of Christ, as they apply God’s Word in their everyday lives. Our curriculum provides answers to the issues that confront today’s culture through the media, school, friends, etc. Orange 252 Basics provides a thorough understanding of the authority and primary teachings of Scripture.

Victory Kids is available during our church services (Sunday 9&11 AM and Wednesday 7 PM).  All small groups and event nights will indicate if childcare is provided.

Junior Helpers:

Our Junior Helper program is a Youth Leadership opportunity for students in grades 6th-12th.  Students who are selected for this program will be assigned to various classrooms on Sunday mornings to assist our Children’s Ministry.   Opportunities include working in our infant room, toddler room, or assisting with the older preschool and elementary aged kids.  Students must apply and both students and parents must sign a program contract agreeing to the parameters of the program.   The goal of this ministry is two-fold.  First it is meant to give youth kids an opportunity to be part of a leadership program where they learn how to serve in a ministry and the responsibility of volunteering.  Secondly it is meant as a great enhancement to our Children’s Ministry classrooms.

Kid’s Assembly at Faith and Victory Church

Faith Kid’s Assembly

It started as a whisper in Spring of 2014, but it is now a ROAR!   Faith Kid’s Assemblies happen second service down stairs in our Children’s Ministries Department.    These Assemblies are designed for our preschool-5thgraders and are packed full of activities.  In a normal week, we will have a crazy game or skit, some hyper music and a lot of jumping around.  After the controlled chaos, we will slow it down and the kid’s will enter into worship, followed by a prayer request time.   Our goal at Assembly time is to give the kids an experience packed full of fun and energy that they look forward to each week.  But more importantly, we are teaching them how to worship and preparing their hearts for the Bible lesson that follows the assembly.  So if you can handle the crazy disco lights and the music turned up, then you are welcome to send your child for a church experience unlike many others!
