As many of you know by now, there has been exposure to Covid-19 at our church. In the ongoing effort to ensure the safety of our people, we’ve made the decision to suspend in-person (drive-in and parking lot) services for at least this Sunday August 2nd. We will be assessing on a day to day basis when we will restart them. This will minimize further exposure.
We did not come to this decision lightly. The government did not ask or require us to do this, we, as a self-governing body have made the decision in the best interest of our church.
Please continue to join us online and in zoom groups. Please check up on your fellow members. These are different times than any of us have ever experienced and we’re learning as we go. It is vitally important that the Lord is praised and that we gather and we will initiate them once again as soon as possible.
I have been in conversation with Public Health this week in regards to our church. Below, please find the recommendations from the King County Department of Public Health in regards to Covid exposure and the precautions you should follow.
As always, I am available if you have any specific questions that you would like answered, or if you are in need of pastoral care. This is our Church. The gates of Hell shall not prevail against it, nor will a virus. We will come out stronger together.
We love you so much,
Pastor Matt and the Elders of FVC
