New! Men’s Advance Update – Click here for details
We are going to postpone the Faith and Victory Church 10th annual Men’s retreat to the 28-30 of May 2020.
Same place. Same schedule. Same awesome time. If you’ve paid, you’ve reserved your spot, there is nothing more you need to do except adjust your work schedule for the 29th. We have such an amazing weekend planned for the guys. Over 90 men have signed up! Its going to be epic! If you haven’t signed up, there is STILL TIME to sign up!!!
We didn’t come to this decision lightly. You’re in this community, you’ve read the news and seen what is happening with Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and how it is affecting events throughout the Puget Sound. In the end, the deciding factor was this: we don’t have anything to lose by waiting 8 more weeks to have the event. We want to lock in the later date when hopefully most of this has ceased, we are back to some level of normalcy and all men will able to attend unemcumbered.
As far as Church services are concerned, it is business as usual. We will continue to have Wednesday and Sunday services until something changes. Bible studies and such will continue unless you hear something specific about a certain event.
We talked Sunday about using the Auburn school district as a litmus test for gathering, and as of today, March 10th 2020 they are not adjusting anything with their schedule, so we will not either at this point. We are updating our approach and plan on a daily basis. If anything changes we will let you know.
Coronavirus or not, you or your children should always, all year long:
• Not attend church or church activities if you have the flu or a fever
• Relentlessly wash your hands and practice good hygiene
• Eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly
• Trust God with your health and life
• Not operate in fear, worry or doubt
• Exercise caution if you have a pre-existing health condition
• Listen to your Doctor
• Pray for the sick
These are interesting times. There are many people who have no faith in God and this event is revealing to them their lack of anything to hold on to in this life or the life to come. We have that hope in Christ Jesus! People need Jesus more now than they have every before. You should expect at work, school or Church interacting with people who are scared and worried and need assurance. Share the Gospel with them. Share the hope of Jesus with them. Bring them to Church. Share the online services. Pray with them and for them. They need hope.
We love you. See you at Church.
