Take back the rainbow! The rainbow represents something that is beautiful, pure, good and holy. But the world has turned it into something that is rude, perverse and evil. Take back the rainbow. The rainbow does not belong to the world, nor it’s culture, neither does it belong to Satan. Oh sure, he has twisted and manipulated hearts and minds to believe it stands for diversity and unity, which seemingly sounds like a good thing; but in reality he has made it evil. I am taking it back.

The rainbow belongs to God and His covenant people. ““And as for Me, behold, I establish My covenant with you and with your descendants after you, and with every living creature that is with you: the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you, of all that go out of the ark, every beast of the earth.

Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.” And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.

It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.

The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” And God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.””‭‭Genesis‬ ‭9:9-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬The rainbow is a covenant. It is a promise that God made to His creation to never flood the earth again.

The rainbow represents God’s faithfulness to keep His Word and promises. We moved in October of 2020 to new house after 17 years of being in the same home. It was a very hard move for me because my life as a child was so hectic. I had lived in 21 different homes, places and states by the time I was 19. I wanted stability for my children and family. I did not want to move, but I knew the Lord was giving us a blessing. I remember the first morning of our new home and I woke up before sunrise.

I was able to see the sunrise and heard the Lord’s small, still voice whispering to me, “As sure as the sun will rise, I keep my Word”. God keeps His covenants, they cannot be broken. Not because we are faithful, but because He is faithful to keep His Word,“And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying, “Thus says the Lord: ‘If you can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with the night, so that there will not be day and night in their season, then My covenant may also be broken with David My servant, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levites, the priests, My ministers. As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so will I multiply the descendants of David My servant and the Levites who minister to Me.’ ””‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭33:19-22‬ ‭NKJV

‬‬Back to my story, I have seen more rainbows from our new home than I have ever seen before in my life. It is a constant reminder that God is faithful to keep His Word. I am taking back the rainbow. It belongs to God’s covenant people.

Next time you see it, remind yourself that God is faithful to do what He says He will do. Next time you see the rainbow, remember His Word. Next time you see a rainbow, remember that God is faithful and He cannot lie nor can He deceive. Next time you see the rainbow, remember that He is good, He is true, and He is faithful. Do not allow the world and it’s culture to take what God has given to His own. Satan is a liar and a thief. I’m taking back the rainbow. #runyourrace
