In every section of this discipleship course, you are asked to sign and be accountable for the actions that you have taken and also your future actions. As Christians, we know that we can be blinded by sin very easily. We need other brothers/sisters in our lives to hold us accountable with walking with God and keeping the faith. We need other Christians to bring us back from the brink of destruction in our lives. In short, we need Christian Accountability.

What areas of your life do you need to be held accountable in?
What people know what you need to be held accountable in?
What steps have you taken to be held accountable in those areas?
Do you struggle with any secret sin (sex, spending, drugs, alcohol, anger, ect) (1 Cor 6:9-11)?
How can you be held accountable to that secret sin?
Are you ready and willing to be held accountable in those areas?
Tasks
Identify at least 3 people that you are accountable to that is not your spouse or family. Only 1 can be a pastor. Discuss with your discipleship mentor why these people are good for your walk with Christ and will hold you accountable to growing.
Identify one area of your life where you need accountability. Discuss with your discipleship mentor what that area is and how you plan on being held accountable. Do not move forward until your discipleship mentor is happy with the progress you’ve made.

I am accountable to at least 3 people in my church. I have made progress in an area of my life that I was struggling in. I want to live a life where my other brothers/sisters examine my life for sin.
