Many times in our lives God calls us to be obedient to Him and/or sacrifice things for Him. In our day to day walk with Christ we live this out by fasting. Fasting is the spiritual equivalent of putting our money where our mouth is. Am I really willing to suffer for the sake of the cross? If you fast the answer is yes. Jesus fasted so we as his followers must fast as well.

Tasks
#1. Juice/vegetable fast for one week. Juice fast is where you drink only water and juice for a period of one week. Discuss with your Discipleship Mentor what you have learned through this process.
#2. Water fast (drink only water) on two Wednesdays. Start fasting when you wake up until after you attend Wednesday night service. Discuss with your Discipleship Mentor what you have learned through this process.
