Going to church every week and simply listening to sermons is not enough. God has given the preacher a message for you and it is your job to take it and apply it to your life. Faith and Victory Church preaches God’s word line by line and verse by verse so at some point you should grow spiritually. If you feel as though you are listening to sermons and nothing in your life is changing then perhaps you need to be more intentional about how you listen to sermons.

Tasks
#1. Listen to a Sunday sermon and take at least one page of written notes. Discuss with your dicipleship mentor if/how this changed what you got from listening to the sermon. Discuss any changes in your life that are needed.
#2. Listen to the Sunday sermon again (via the website). Reivew the pastor’s notes. Discuss with your dicipleship mentor if/how this changed what you got from listening to the sermon.
#3. Repeat #1 and #2 except for a Wednesday service.
