God created us to worship and praise him. The Bible says God delights in it and it gives Him glory. We start our services with worship, because it reminds us that there is something bigger in this world than our problems. We worship God because he sent is son to die on the cross so that we might have everlasting life. Worship also reminds us of all the things God has done for us and that God is God and we are not. You should worship both at Sunday services and also when you are alone during your Bible reading time.

Tasks
#1. Add a personal worship time to your daily Bible reading. Doesn’t have to be “musical” be does need to be “out loud”. You may need to adjust the length of each activity (prayer, worship, reading) during your Bible reading time depending on the time you have. After a week report back to your discipleship mentor what you have learned.
#2. Sit in the first three rows of Sunday service. Raise your hands, sing your best, and fully commit to honoring God for the entire period of worship. Discuss with your Discipleship Mentor how this experience was for you.
#3. Sit in the back of the sanctuary and observe everyone else worshipping. Take notes about what other people are doing and how they worship. Discuss it with your Discipleship Mentor.
#4. Attend a Wednesday Night Service. Discuss with your discipleship mentor the differences between Sunday worship and Wednesday worship.
