I WILL ARISE. It’s a proclamation of faith, not unlike Job’s words in the midst of his darkest days, “For I know that my Redeemer lives and I will see Him on that day.” There was a righteous remnant in the days of Micah who were facing dark days because of the nation’s sin, not even of their own doing. Micah trumpets words of faith on their behalf looking ahead to the day of triumph, “Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me. Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The LORD will be a light to me.” Micah 7:7-8 I WILL ARISE!
The Bible tells us that a righteous man will fall 7 times and rise up again. God knew what was going to happen before you even stepped into that fire. He foresaw the problems and trials before they even began to sear and afflict your heart and soul. Do you not know? Do you not understand? There’s nothing out of God’s control. The enemy may throw a wrench in God’s plan, but he cannot thwart that plan. Dark days are just that: dark days, but God is your light in the darkness. Lift up your head and ignite your faith. Get out of your depressed position for our God is an all consuming fire. Let this be your proclamation today, “I WILL ARISE”. #runyourrace
