A CONTROLLED FIRE BURN stimulates the germination of desirable forest trees and reveals soil mineral layers which increase seedling vitality. There’s a certain type of cone that requires heat from fire to open in order to disperse its seeds. There’s a sermon in there somewhere. “Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you.” The fiery trial reveals things in us that we didn’t even know were there. It will reveal impurities and bring them to the surface to be dealt with. The fire is a cleansing agent. And depending on how you react in the fire, it will produce new seeds.

Here’s what I know: stay in the fire! God is doing something through this trial. Let the Spirit do His job. I know it’s quip; but don’t get bitter, get better. Bitterness defiles the soul. Press into the Lord and receive comfort from His Word. Ask Him, “teach me thy statues”. Watch the words of your mouth! Stop grumbling and complaining. PRAISE Him in the fire! God is still good. He’s still faithful. He still delivers. He’s still in there with you. “Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.” I Peter‬ ‭4:12, 19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ #runyourrace
