And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship
Exodus 31:3
What have you been called to do? When God calls us to a task, a path, or a position within the church, He equips us to carry out the task at hand. There was extensive detailed workmanship that went into crafting the Tabernacle, the Ark of the Covenant, and all of the tools and utensils that went along with it. The Lord commanded all of it to be built a very specific way, but He also filled specific men with His Holy Spirit to give them the wisdom and skills necessary to do so.
The Lord never gives us a task that He cannot accomplish through us. When the Lord first called me by name, it overwhelmed me. It seemed impossible, and I doubted, questioned Him, sought and prayed. It was difficult to accept, but the Lord gives me the wisdom necessary to accomplish anything that He asks of me. I have never been asked to do anything by my own strength, but by His. He has never asked me to worry, but to trust in Him.
God delivered Israel from entire armies through Gideon, He subdued and entire nation through Moses and Aaron, He killed more enemies with hail than Joshua and his army of men. Why do we continue to doubt that the Lord can accomplish His will through us? Whatever the Lord has called you to, trust and believe that He can, if you are willing to submit and obey.
Then the LORD turned to him and said “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?”
