STOP COMPLAINING. I mean it, stop grumbling and complaining. It’s getting you no where, in fact, your discontent is putting you back into a wilderness place. Years ago the Lord showed me that when I complained, I was only revealing to God that I’m dissatisfied with His provision. Yikes. Does He not provide in all situations and is He not a good and faithful Provider?
“If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?” Luke 12:28
Where’s your faith? Where’s your trust in a wonderful and truly awesome God? Is He not good and faithful to do all He said He would do? Will He not provide? Do you not trust that His provision is sufficient? How long will you grumble and complain? Because I believe that the longer you complain; the longer you’ll stay in that wilderness place. Why can’t you be content with what you have right now? Did He not die for you and save you from your sins? Have you not been set free and made a new creation in Jesus Christ? Has He not given you the Holy Spirit to overcome ALL things? THEN why are you so discontent? Examine your heart.
Change your thinking and change your words and then your heart will change. Stop whining and start worshiping. Self pity is sin. Quit looking at what others have and you don’t. Comparison will kill your life. Besides, you don’t know their struggle. I choose life! My life reflects the joy of the Lord, not my current physical condition. Give thanks in all things. Rejoice in every situation and again I say, “Rejoice!” Your situation may not change, but your heart will.
