HE WILL NOT INTERPOSE ON my behalf, and then abandon me. “The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.” Psalms 138:8 He did not start off sanctifying me to stop His work now. What God has started in me, He is faithful to accomplish. The course He’s cut for me, He knows well. He has set out to make me Holy and wholly His; He will complete that which concerns me.
The apostle Paul quoted the above Psalm in his letter to the Philippians, “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;” Philippians 1:6 This is the confidence we have in Him, He will not leave me as I am. He will not encourage me and then cast me off. He does not start something and not finish; He is not a man who has many projects going but none of them come to fruition.
I need not worry or fret, God will do what He said He would do. He is faithful to finish His work in me. He has not saved me to abandon me. He has not redeemed me to sell me back to the enemy. He goes before me and is my rear guard. He is faithful. ““God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19He will complete that which concerns me. #runyourrace
