IF YOU CAUSE DIVISION in the Body of Christ, we are not on the same team. A divisive person is an offended person. If you go around grumbling and complaining, and tell others to leave the church because you are offended, we are not of the same spirit. Jude tells us, “these who cause divisions are worldly people, devoid of the Spirit”. If you talk badly about the church to others and hurl your offenses, we are not serving the same Jesus.
Actually, divisiveness in the church is a sin against God and His Body. Do not think that you are right with Jesus when you attack His church. Do not lie to yourself that Jesus is proud of you when you speak ill of His ministers and spread your sourness. “Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.” Titus 3:10-11
Stop fooling yourself into believing that you can be friends with a divisive man. Paul told the Romans to “avoid those who cause divisions”. What you may not understand is that “we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness”. We wrestle against demons and behind a divisive person is a demonic influence. These demons are strong, seductive, persuasive, deceitful and after your soul to destroy you. The enemy seeks to isolate the weak and injured sheep to better devour them. Guard your heart against all offense, get rid of any selfish ambition and envy; and by all means stay away from a divisive and offended man. #runyourrace
