SOMEONE NEEDS TO HEAR A WORD of encouragement. This life is full of ups and downs. Every winter season has a summer season. The thunderstorm has a rainbow. Every valley of the shadow of death has a mountaintop experience. For every burden, there is an answer of hope. Every knockdown has a get up. Every tunnel has a light at the end of it.
For every grief, there will be gladness. For every bitterness, there WILL be sweet. The darkness doesn’t last forever. “For His anger is but for a moment, but His favor is for a lifetime or in His favor is life. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:5 AMPC While it’s true, some griefs we allow into our lives because of our own behavior; some griefs just come.
David here was under harsh discipline from the Lord for his own sins. God didn’t stop His care and concern for Him. Some of you are under discipline, some it’s just a season. This is still true- God’s mercy endures forever. His strength is yours for the taking. His forgiveness still casts your sins as far as the east is from the west. His love never fails and He still never forsakes those who call upon Him.
You need to hear this: THIS DARKNESS WILL NOT LAST FOREVER. I know it feels like it. I know pain and suffering is hard while you’re in the midst of it, but JOY comes in the morning! This tough season WILL end! God is still in control and His mercy is new every morning. Great is Thy faithfulness. God has not forgotten about you and He’s heard your cries. Hold on to His unchanging hand. Find the gold in your suffering and learn from it so that your faith may be refined. #runyourrace
