ALL THINGS DONE IN DARK will be brought to light, in its time. I was publicly accused of something I did not do and someone erroneously said, “all things will be brought to light!” The whole situation was surrounded by lies and falsehood and the thing “brought out into the light” was not the truth.
It’s not until the Lord returns to set up His kingdom that our hearts will be exposed and our actions will be known and laid bare for all to behold, “Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God.” I Corinthians 4:5 We are told “judge nothing before it’s time”.
Be very, very careful to cast judgement when you do not have all the truth. Was it not until Christ rose from the dead and showed Himself to His disciples that then they believed He truly was the Son of God? And was not until many years after Paul’s death that we have insight into his heart through his letters?
Let people judge your heart and motives, it’s not your job to convince people you are not guilty of their accusations. It is also not your job to defend yourself. We have one Advocate and He knows His job well. Let people believe lies about you, on that day all will be made known. For some of you, this should scare you. Our motives will be made known and laid before all to see. We can either be embarrassed at His coming, or we can rejoice and say, “Even so, come Lord Jesus!” For myself, I will end well and like Paul be able to say, “I am free from the blood of all men, for I did not hesitate to preach to you the whole will of God.”
