REMEMBER THE GLORY DAYS? Ever met someone still stuck in his high school glory days? He dwells on his successes and how he “ruled the school”. BUT WHAT HAVE YOU DONE LATELY? The past is gone and done. It’s under the blood of Christ. You cannot change it nor go back. For those with a nasty past like myself, let it go and press on. Yet, I still know people that talk about the great things for God they USED to do. BUT WHAT HAVE YOU DONE LATELY?

Take a good look at King Solomon’s life. He was full of wisdom from the Lord, ministered to others that wisdom, built the temple for God, wrote a few books, enjoyed fellowship with the Lord; but in the end he was led astray. It doesn’t matter what you USED to do, what are you doing NOW? How are you serving Him NOW? How are you loving Him now? Stop talking about your glory days! Do you love Him? FEED His sheep and obey His Word.

Did you know that if you don’t continue on HIS path, your WHOLE life’s work can be burnt up? Everything you USED to do? Where’s the FRUIT of a holy life? Where’s the Spirit of God? Where’s love for the saints? You cannot love those you clearly avoid. Real joy and peace in the storm? KINDNESS, not boastful arrogance? How about self-control? THESE are the fruits that should be growing and will remain. What you USED to do is gone. “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭12:13-14‬ #runyourrace
