GROSS ARE THE ABSURDITIES of unbelief. Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness. What did Abraham believe? God and what God spoke to him, even when Abraham couldn’t see it and didn’t like it. Many people proclaim, “I believe in God!” Yet, so do the demons. But do you BELIEVE God? I’m going to go out on a limb and say most do not. IF you truly believed God, you would take Him at His Word. Anything you read in Scripture, whether you like it or not, whether it applies to your situation or not, whether you can imagine it or not, whether you thinks it impossible or not; you would believe Him. Our confidence must not rest or depend upon what God is presently doing but upon who He is. I hear a lot of this, “I just don’t believe that God would do that!” That’s because you do not really BELIEVE God and so you refuse His Word because it doesn’t line up with your ideology. There’s a myriad of reasons why unbelief is so rampant right now, but I believe the main reason to be there’s no fear of the Lord. Every man is doing what’s right in his own eyes. We are the spiritual seed of Abraham IF we follow in his same steps of faith and obedience. Abraham BELIEVED and obeyed God, “And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”” Genesis‬ ‭22:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
