THERE IS ONLY ONE response when we come in contact with a Holy God, “So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts.”” Isaiah‬ ‭6:5‬ ‭I AM UNDONE. The fact of the matter is when you come face to face with the living God, you’re exposed and laid naked before Him. You have no legs to stand, so to speak. You have no goodness, no righteousness to offer Him. There’s nowhere you can hide, for you cannot hide your selfishness. You have nothing to offer Him and you will never be good enough. You do not deserve anything, no matter what you’re mommy told you. You must stand in AWE of His Holiness.

What can you do? Praise God for the blood of Jesus! His blood cleanses your sin and allows you to enter the Holy of Holies. You now have access to the throne of God and He calls you His own. BUT somewhere down the timeline, you’ve gotten too familiar and you begin to treat the blood of Christ as a common thing, Hebrews 10:29. I heard a preacher say, “The opposite of Holy is not sin; but rather common.”

Have you forgotten that He is Holy? Have you lost your awe for an awesome God? Whom you could not stand in His presence on your own? Commune with your heart. Ask, “Have I treated the blood as a common thing?” You just might find you have some repenting to do. He’s coming back soon.  #runyourrace
