JESUS + (FILL IN THE BLANK)= HEALING. This is a lie of the enemy. It is not Jesus+ psychology = healing; nor is it Jesus+ your method= healing. It is simply JESUS. If you do not believe that the Word of God is ALL sufficient to meet every inner need of man, then you are not in the truth and are believing a lie. If you believe that YOU need to add anything, you are believing a lie. This is what is referred to as “practical atheism”: a way of life that acknowledges God intellectually, but denies Him in day-to-day actions. These profess to know Jesus, but by their daily actions show that they do not TRULY believe. “They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.” Titus‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭
If your idea of sanctification includes anything besides, “the washing of water by the Word”; then the truth is not in you. Jesus is all sufficient. The ministry of the cross is enough. It is finished and the effects will continue. The Word is quick and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword. Get your nose out of the “method” and into the Word. Want to be transformed? Renew your mind to His Word. Need to be delivered? Believe God’s Word. Want comfort? Change your thought life. Think on things that are good, right, pure and true. There’s every kind of healing in His stripes. Find comfort in His presence and rest in His holy place. Stop believing the lie and start believing His Word.
