“DO NOT JUDGE according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”” John‬ ‭7:24‬ ‭Judge with righteous judgment – Candidly; looking at the law, and inquiring what its spirit really requires. But what is truth? The problem with today’s society is they do not want any absolutes. The standard keeps changing, the bar keeps moving.

The law has become subjective and everyone acquiesces to society’s demands and emotional outbursts. Truth is relative and how one feels about something, then society quickly adapts to those feelings. Even among Christians. A sign of the Antichrist would be that he will change laws and times, Dan 7:25.

The atmosphere is ripe with this Antichrist spirit. The reason people don’t like the Bible is that it has absolutes. God has a law and a standard and no one can change His Word. Sure, false prophets twist and manipulate it; “Did God really say?” but God says what He means and He means what He says; whether or not we like it.

Society can write new laws, but God’s laws do not change. Go back to the above Scripture, “judge with righteous judgment”. We cannot judge by appearance because “Satan manifests as an angel of light”. Looks can be deceiving. We are to look at something and hold it up to the Word of God. We filter it through God’s standard and then we can declare it to be the truth or a lie. Believe the lie and you take part in a lie. This makes you a liar and you are still in the dark. Believe the truth and you take part in the truth and walk in the light. The hazard of believing the lie is falling from truth. If it does not line up with Scripture, do not believe it.

If a “gospel” or philosophy does not line up with God’s standard, do not believe it. If a person’s words and actions do not line up with Scripture, they are still in the dark. If you look at your life and you are living in contrast to God’s holy Word, you are still in the dark; no matter what you confessed years ago. Judge according to the truth of things, lest you be turned from the truth and carried away.

Matt 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”Matt 24:11, 24 “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”Mark 13:22 “For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.”Luke 6:26 “Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets”2Pet 2:1 “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.”

1John 4:1 “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”Rev 16:13 “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.”#runyourrace
