This is an old one from 2017:
“WHEN YOU ARE GOING THROUGH HELL, keep going”. A great quote about perseverance from Winston Churchill. My 16 year old son is going through a program called “Running Start” where he’s taking all college courses and will graduate high school with an Associates Degree. This morning he says, “Mom, I hate this quarter. It is hard and I’m tired.” This is life.

There are some rough seasons that will be hard and you will be tired. KEEP GOING. You are being refined through the fiery trial. I have seen way too many people quit when times get too hard and they never end up going anywhere. They roam around in their desert grumbling and complaining. Side note: the complainers died in the wilderness.

We are told, “walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;” Colossians‬ ‭1:10-11‬ ‭Long suffering perseverance- it’s a part of the Christian walk.

Just ask Paul. Press on and press into God. Press into prayer. Press into the Word but never, never, never quit. Discipline is tough. That’s why it’s called discipline. Your race is not over and there’s work to be done. Keep going. Don’t give up before your breakthrough! God has a plan and He will never waste your pain. Press on. #runyourrace
