KING DAVID SAID, “Every step of a righteous man is ordered by God”. My favorite gospel singer Fred Hammond wrote a song about this Psalm and the next set of lyrics says, “although you may not know His mind, He will reveal it all in time. Until then, your steps are ordered by God”. This Christian walk is often veiled and we can’t see what’s up ahead. God may have given you a vision of what’s coming, but He doesn’t reveal the path or time it takes to get there. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way.” Psalms‬ ‭37:23‬ ‭This is literally translated: a good man, one found to be wholly given to the Lord, has his steps ESTABLISHED by God; (the same Hebrew word is used when Samuel spoke to David of God establishing his kingdom forever) and He (God) KNOWS it and even takes pleasure in it. Does this not give you hope in your situation right now? Do you not realize that God’s way for you is divine and beautiful? I know it’s hard when we cannot see or even understand our path, BUT the fact that God takes pleasure in it, should make us excited to see where we are going and fill us with hope! His way is perfect and it is ALWAYS good. He guards the steps of His faithful ones. He is protecting, leading, guiding, directing His children. Whom shall I fear or of what shall I be afraid?
