HINDSIGHT IS 20/20. There’s a reason for sayings and this one is no different. I can look back on my life in those areas that were puzzling and the dark and difficult seasons when I could see no light at the end of the tunnel, no hope in sight; the times when I cried out to the Lord in hurt and frustration, “Where are You O’ Lord? What are You doing?” and see now that His hands were all over my life, working things out for good, directing my steps, preparing my path. “His disciples did not understand these things at first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about Him and that they had done these things to Him.” John 12:16 NKJV
I imagine those were dark days in the disciples lives after Jesus was crucified and all hope was SEEMINGLY lost. They didn’t understand. But they would soon. Here’s what you have to ask yourself, “Do I really trust God?” Do you trust that He knows what He’s doing? Do you trust that He has a perfect plan and He’s orchestrating your life? Do you trust that what He’s doing is good? And He can turn a bad situation around? Do you trust God with your life? If you have left all to follow Him, will He not provide for you in all things? Difficult seasons refine your character. Give yourself over to the fire. You may not know what He’s doing now, but you will. #runyourrace
