THE NARROW ROAD IS LONELY.
People won’t understand you, they won’t understand your calling, your anointing or your passion. Don’t even try to explain yourself, it won’t work. Do your job as unto the Lord, do it well. Look to the hills, that’s where your help comes from. “I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.” Psalms 121:1-2
He will not fail you, neither will He forsake you. He goes with you. It will be hard, He doesn’t promise it will all be roses and parades, but He promises an eternal crown and life everlasting to the one who overcomes. But don’t worry child, He gives you the strength to overcome.
He gives comfort to those who mourn and He blesses the fruitful works of righteousness. You may be lonely, but you are not alone. You will struggle, but will have peace. You will be persecuted, even by others called by the same Christian name; but He soothes the broken hearted.
You are misunderstood and will want to defend yourself, but don’t. He is your strong defender. People will evaluate your motives and judge the intents of your heart; but none of that matters, none of it moves you. He knows your heart and its desire to please Him. You feel like you don’t fit. You don’t.
This world is not your home. “The LORD is your keeper; The LORD is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.” Psalms 121:5-8 NKJV #runyourrace
