GOD IS NOT THE GOD of the dead, but He is the God of the living. Someone needs to hear this- God wants to resurrect that which has gone dormant in your life. Mount Shasta is a dormant volcano, meaning it’s been asleep with no activity for a few hundred years. Mount Rainier is considered an active volcano. Although it has not erupted in hundreds of years, there’s activity underneath the surface.
Some of you have gone dormant, there’s no activity even underneath the surface. You see no hope for the future. God’s calling has seemingly died. You lost sight of what’s important. The enemy has squashed all hope so you tried to resurrect your past, but that needs to stay buried. There’s nothing for you there. Today, God wants to speak life to the future. I heard the voice of the Lord,“Now all wept and mourned for her; but He said, “Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeping.”” Luke 8:52 It is not dead, but sleeping.
Read this clearly, I am not talking about your past and those things under the blood of Christ; but rather those future things that God has called you to do; not your plans but His plans, not your will but His. You will not speak life to those things that God has pruned. The dead branches need to fall. Ezekiel only spoke life as God commanded Him. Stop looking at what the world is doing. Stop looking at our government and the unlawful laws that are being formed. These things have NO authority over the child of God and His plan.
The NT disciples had huge opposition, affliction and persecution; but that would not and could not stop them from doing the will of God. God is calling you to WAKE UP, repent, re-engage, RISE UP and obey. Cast off all fear- it’s holding you hostage. You are still here, so God is not done. ““And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.
Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.”Revelation 3:1-3 NKJV#runyourrace
