IF YOU TALK BAD ABOUT MY HUSBAND, don’t expect me and you to be in fellowship. I have a unique position in the Body of Christ as a pastor’s wife. My husband gets the brunt of every assault; therefore I get it. The Spirit always reveals everything done in darkness and brings it to light. So, even when you don’t know that I know; I know that you’ve been talking about my husband and it pains me even more than it pains him.
We are ONE FLESH. When Paul speaks to marriages, “Women, submit to your husbands. Husbands love your wives”, he’s giving an illustration of the church; “This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.” Ephesians 5:22 -33 NKJV This is why I tell you when you speak poorly of a brother in Christ, then you are wounding Christ. THIS IS A GREAT MYSTERY! For we are members of HIS BODY, His flesh and His bones. You might say, we are one flesh.
What you say, how you act, when you belittle and hold an offense; when you refuse to repent and refuse to forgive another in Christ, He is wounded. Do not think you can talk bad and wound His Bride and be in fellowship with Him. And the opposite is true: when we encourage and build up one another, when we sacrificially love and give, spend and be spent for the brethren, forgive and bless; Christ is honored and glorified. He adores His Bride. #runyourrace
