WEIRD SCIENCE. Who remembers this 80’s movie? Two teen boys decide to make the “perfect woman”. They use their computer and cut out pictures and words, pick her body shape, hair and eyes, decide how she will talk and act; basically it was a modern version of “Frankenstein’s Monster”, except she didn’t think for herself- she thought the way she was programmed to think.
This is very much like what a lot of people have done to Jesus. They have uploaded His shape and size, programmed Him to say what and how they want, and to act how they want Him to act. They’ve programmed their “Jesus” to obey their own set of rules and laws. Foundational to Christianity is this: Jesus is God, the Almighty Creator. He proclaims it Himself, “”I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”” Revelation 1:8 Jesus is the beginning and ending of all things- from creation to consummation. He is from everlasting to everlasting. He flooded the earth, He led Israel out of Egypt, He died on the cross for our sins and He’s coming back to make war.
You cannot wrap your mind around it because you have made up your own Jesus, deceiving yourself and others. From Genesis to Revelation, Jesus is. Time to reprogram your mind, not Jesus; or He will fight against you with the sword of His mouth. If you don’t believe that, you make Him a liar.
