REBELLION IS ATTRACTED TO rebellion. It’s the old saying, “like attracts like”. Those who have a grievance are attracted to others that have a grievance. Those who complain and are negative are attracted to others who complain and are negative. Ever seen how one person has a problem with someone and they have to go around and tell everyone else their problem with that person? Why? For what reason? To spread lies and rumors? To make yourself feel better about yourself or justified in your hateful and rebellious actions? What good is it?
There’s a story in the Bible about a person such as this, it’s under the title of “The rebellion of Korah”. This man turned hundreds of people against Moses through grumbling and complaining. And guess what happened to him? The trap he was laying for Moses, he fell into himself and everyone who followed him. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my walk with Jesus, “bad company corrupts good morals”.
I’ve learned my lesson a hundred times over. I’m not sure why people don’t believe this? Scripture tells us have nothing to do with these people: the self-centered, greedy, boasters, prideful, blasphemous, disobedient, unthankful, unholy, slanderers, lack self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure, and having a form of godliness but deny His power, (means they claim to know Jesus but do not walk according to His Spirit).
Guard your heart and your soul. It’s not “unloving” to separate from the rebellious. It’s pertinent. It’s essential. You can be friendly and not friends. If they talk bad about and slander others, be sure they will slander and turn on you. Those who slander God’s church are not your friend. You run the risk of becoming bitter and hard-hearted, succumbing to the same outcome, “Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.” Jude 1:11 From such people turn away!#runyourrace
