REPROGRAMMED?? Concentration camps for Republicans to be reprogrammed? Nonsense! I thought this was America? The land of democracy and checks and balances. If everyone thought like you, we would be China. Well, looks like we are headed that way. But I digress.
There is a reprogramming that needs to take place- a reprogramming in the hearts and minds and doctrine of the church. American Christians need to be reprogrammed according to the Word of God. Itching ears and false teachers have for years been leading sheep away from Biblically sound teaching. False doctrine and theologies have infiltrated the church, another gospel and another Jesus. False love is prevalent and sin abounds. Rogue prophets, and FB teachers operate without any covering of authority and therefore no accountability.
The individual mindset prevails. “I am my own god” has infiltrated and penetrated the mind of the Body. A reprogramming is desperately needed. When Jude said to “contend for the faith”, he meant Scriptural principles and doctrines according to God’s Word- not your individual faith.
The true gospel needs to be preached- Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Any gospel that does not mention sin, is not the gospel. “Jesus loves you and wants to help you” is not the gospel. “Jesus wants to make your life better” and this better is about stuff and no overcoming of the old man of sin; it is not the gospel. Unless the offense of the cross is preached, it’s not the gospel. Unless repentance, a turning away from sin, is not taught; it’s not the gospel. If your message is “Jesus came to make us all equal” and you push your liberal agenda, it is not the gospel. “Jesus is Savior” without “Jesus is Lord” is not the gospel. Unless your message is, “You must be born again of the Holy Spirit and become a new creation in Christ”; it is not the gospel.
If you teach love, without the fear of a holy God and the need for Christians to be a holy, set apart people; it is not the gospel. “For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”Hebrews 10:26-27, 29 , 31 ESV#runyourrace
