HERE I AM SEND ME!
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”” Isaiah‬ ‭6:8‬ ‭Isaiah’s famous words and we love to repeat these words because we want to go and be used by Him and for Him and we think it will be a glorious time. But we often hit a snag in our endeavors to be used by God, because we don’t like the method or the mode by which He uses us to accomplish His plan. See, it’s His plan, not ours. His way, not our way.

Oswald Chambers wrote, “God can never make us into wine if we object to the fingers He chooses to use to crush us”. And we must be crushed in order for that beautiful fragrance of myrrh to be released out of us. He uses people and circumstances that often hurt; Jesus was betrayed in order to fulfill God’s plan of redemption. If we are truly His, then He gets to mold us and crush those undesirable places to make the vessel He desires and be used accordingly.

Now, you can do it your way and according to your wisdom, but you’ll find yourself kicking against the goads. You might accomplish a little, but you will never bear the fruit He intends. If He’s making you into a bowl, then you need to be a bowl. You don’t put soup on a plate, that’s not it’s purpose. Stay under the Potter’s hands for His molding purposes so you can truly say, “Send me!” #runyourrace
