NEWS FLASH! You can actually pray for someone and have nothing to do with them at the same time. Mind blown. This might be a shocker to some, but in order to walk righteously and work righteousness; you have to separate. You are to despise what is evil, the doctrine that corrupts, even the unrepentant person spreading heresy. Psalm 15:4 “a vile person is to be despised in your eyes.” Your heart should break when someone is lost or falls away, and you are to pray for them and do whatever is in your power to restore them; but if they continue on the path of destruction you are to have nothing to do with them. “Have nothing to do with the unfruitful works of darkness” Ephesians 5:11.

What’s even more damning, is when a person in a position of authority falls away from the faith and touts false doctrine. They are held to a greater standard and more is required of them because they have influence over the masses. Here’s the REAL question: where is your allegiance? Do you honor God’s Word and His ways above all else? Or are you so consumed with worldly things that you honor unrighteousness under the guise of “love”? You better be careful. There are strict warnings in Scripture for tolerating Jezebel. “The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keeps his way preserves his soul.” Proverbs 16:17 #runyourrace
