LOVE IS MANIFESTED IN DIFFERENT ways. “And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.” Jude‬ ‭1:22-23‬ ‭The second type—that’s me. If I come running into your burning house and find you sitting trying to watch tv and choking down some tacos and hohos, while everything is falling in around you; I do not have time for niceties. I’m picking you up, dragging you kicking and screaming outside to safety. Where you go from there is on you. You can call me names and hate me, I don’t care. I’m too busy trying to save your life to worry about what you think of me.

SIN DESTROYS LIVES and I hate sin. I lived long enough in the world to experience its affects and every single time, sin only leads to death and destruction. I watched sin destroy my family’s life and then my life. I ended up in pig slop eating the pig’s leftovers and nobody around to help me. Friends flee when you stink. I’m not a “beat around the bush” kind of person, give it to me straight. I don’t want my doctor to lie to me about my health when I’m on the verge of death.

I’m not going to pretend that you’re OK when you’re flirting with disaster. I’m not going to pat you on the back when you’re poor, miserable, blind and naked. I care about your eternity. What do you care about? Hurt feelings and people pleasing or eternal souls?  #runyourrace
