STRENGTH, COURAGE then safety. Many are seeking “safety”, run and hide! Isolate and stay safe! Preserve yourself. I heard the voice of the Lord say, “Strength! Courage! and then I will provide safety!” These are the days that take strength, not in your own strength; but in His strength we can do all things. Yet, you must strengthen your mind and reinforce a strong will that proclaims, “I will go forth in the power of the Lord and I will not be moved!” As David the king proclaimed, “Blessed be the Lord my Strength, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.”
Engage the battle with a steadfast mind, like the mind of Christ, adamant to obey God’s will at all costs and to not be swayed from the path that leads to the cross and ultimately to victory. You have need of strength to endure and persevere through the sufferings of the righteous and the lies and slander of the enemy. Strength to overcome when you are hated by all for His name’s sake. And courage to engage the battle and not flee in desperation and cowardice.
A courageous heart that refuses to leave the side of their brothers in Christ, brothers in arms wielding the sword of the Spirit in all truth and righteousness. Courage in the face of adversity like the young shepherd boy against a rather large and formidable opponent. Courage that builds with one hand and fights with the other among slanderous insults and threats of death. And then, safety. He who seeks safety of his own means and own accord, safety will be ripped out from underneath him. “The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the Lord.” Proverbs 21:31
Seeking your own safety will only profit in losing that which you seek to save. For Christ says “in that day”, meaning at the end of days when you see end time prophetic events unraveling before your eyes and fear creeps in, “Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.” Luke 17:33 Therefore, you must engage.
If you are seeking safety, do you really trust the Lord? Or do you trust in yourself to keep yourself safe? Safety will be ripped away. “Not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you [setting you on a firm foundation] and will protect and guard you from the evil one.” 2 Thessalonians 3:3 AMP#runyourrace
