“WOE TO THOSE who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses and trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they look not to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek and consult the Lord!” Isaiah 31:1 A prophetic warning to not trust in the world.
At this time in history, Egypt ruled the world. They were a strong force to be reckoned with and so when Israel was under attack; instead of going to the Lord, they went to Egypt for help. And the Lord says, “Woe to those who go to Egypt for help”. The prophecy continues to say that the Lord will bring destruction on both- Egypt who helps and Israel who is helped. Both will fall. It’s a prophetic warning, still relevant today. When you go to Egypt for help, you will fall.
There is a separation taking place, God is separating the wheat from the chaff and the indicating factor is fear. Fear is a fierce motivator, “men’s hearts will fail them because of fear”. Whom do you serve? Whom do you trust? Your actions are displaying to an Almighty God that you either trust Him or you do not. There is no grey area here. You either trust Him with your life, or you go down to Egypt for help. You are being groomed to accept government orders. This is not conspiracy, this is Scriptural prophecy being fulfilled.
The Bible declares that everything will change in an hour, and that hour has arrived. Will you stand firm and trust God to help? Or will you fear and go down to Egypt? There is not one place in Scripture that God says to trust in anyone or anything, (including yourself) except Him alone. There’s not one place that He tells us to go to for help, except Him alone. He holds my salvation in His hands, can He not deliver me from the fiery furnace? Or perhaps in the fiery furnace?
Once again, He is shaking everything that can be shaken, until it cannot be shaken anymore. Will you still be standing? “And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].”Revelation 12:11 AMPC#runyourrace
