Preparing the Future Leadership

Faith and Victory Church Youth Group and Children’s Ministry is preparing the future pastors, elders, deacons, ministry leaders, and members of Faith and Victory Church.  That is why whenever we meet we are focused on training young minds to read their Bible, serve God, worship joyously, and listen to what is being preached.  Feel free to contact any of our kids or youth leaders if you have any questions.

Live Ready Youth is a youth group for 6th through 8th grade. We meet every Monday night from 6:30-8 pm in the AMC.  Live Ready Youth is especially geared toward the sometimes difficult JR Years where kids are transitioning into young adults.  Live Ready Youth has an environment of asking questions and learning what it is to be more mature in the faith without the pressure of older kids in the room.

Victory Kids and Revolution Youth

Revolution Youth 6th – 12th Grade

Wednesday 7 PM – AMC

Revolution youth is a place where the youth engage in their faith with God. Youth Pastors Jeremy and Brittney Ellis focus on preparing the youth dealing with their schools, peers, family, and whatever else life will throw at them.  Revolution Youth starts off by worshipping (led by the youth worship team), listening to youth centered messaged, some small group discussion time, and possibly a game if time permits.  There are also various youth events throughout the year and a youth retreat that happens during the summer.

If you would like a list of upcoming youth events or have any questions please contact Pastor Brittney and Jeremy Ellis at ellis@faithandvictory.com

Church Children’s Ministry Rooted in Biblical Values

Welcome to our church’s Children’s Ministry, a vibrant and nurturing space where the seeds of faith are sown and young hearts are shaped by the timeless wisdom of the Bible. Inspired by the teachings of Jesus, we are dedicated to providing a safe, engaging, and biblically grounded environment for children to grow in their relationship with God. Let’s delve into how our Children’s Ministry is rooted in the transformative power of the Bible.

1. Foundations in Scripture: Our Children’s Ministry is firmly rooted in the teachings of the Bible. Just as Jesus welcomed children and emphasized their importance, we believe that children are a vital part of the Kingdom of God. Our programs and lessons are designed to present biblical truths in ways that are age-appropriate and relevant, ensuring that young minds can grasp the depth of God’s love and plan for their lives.

2. Interactive Learning: We understand that children learn best through engagement and interaction. Our Children’s Ministry is designed to captivate young imaginations through interactive stories, creative activities, and meaningful discussions. Through hands-on experiences, children are encouraged to explore the Bible and discover how its stories and lessons apply to their own lives.

3. Character Formation: The Bible provides a moral compass that guides us in making righteous choices. Our Children’s Ministry places a strong emphasis on character formation, instilling virtues such as kindness, compassion, gratitude, and forgiveness. These values are rooted in the teachings of Jesus and provide a solid foundation for children to navigate the challenges of life with grace and integrity.

4. Prayer and Worship: Just as adults benefit from prayer and worship, children too are encouraged to connect with God through these spiritual practices. Our Children’s Ministry incorporates prayer, worship songs, and moments of reflection into our programs, helping children develop a personal relationship with God and teaching them that they can approach Him with their joys and concerns.

5. Biblical Heroes and Role Models: The Bible is replete with stories of individuals who exhibited extraordinary faith and courage. Our Children’s Ministry introduces children to these biblical heroes, allowing them to learn from their experiences and draw inspiration from their journeys. Through the lives of characters like David, Esther, and Daniel, children discover the importance of trust, obedience, and unwavering faith.

6. Family Integration: Our Church Children’s Ministry recognizes that parents and guardians are the primary spiritual influencers in a child’s life. We aim to partner with families by providing resources that facilitate open conversations about faith at home. Our lessons are designed to spark discussions between children and their families, creating a seamless connection between what is learned at church and within the family unit.

7. Celebrating Milestones: Just as Jesus celebrated the children around Him, we celebrate significant milestones in a child’s faith journey. Baptisms, dedications, and other key moments are moments of joy and significance in our Children’s Ministry. These occasions provide opportunities to reaffirm the importance of God’s presence in their lives.

In conclusion, our Children’s Ministry is a nurturing and dynamic environment where children are introduced to the transformative power of the Bible. Through interactive learning, character formation, prayer, and worship, we seek to cultivate a deep and lasting relationship between children and God. With a foundation built on biblical values and guided by the teachings of Jesus, our Children’s Ministry is dedicated to shaping young hearts and minds for a lifelong journey of faith.  Matthew 19:14  But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
