I WAS THINKING ABOUT THE MOVIE, “The Titanic”. Remember Jack and Rose? And her evil fiancé who was going to get on a boat by bribing one of the stewards? In the hundred plus years since the Great Wall of China was erected, it was virtually impenetrable; except three times. How did the enemy get in? They bribed a gatekeeper.
How does the enemy infiltrate a church? He bribes someone who’s not fully committed to the Body of Christ. The enemy finds that weak link, the one talking poorly of the Pastor and leadership. The enemy seeks the one who talks poorly of their brothers in Christ and tears apart the character of the Body’s members and then bribes his way in speaking words of deceit. Hear the words of the Apostle Paul, “But I urge and entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in perfect harmony and full agreement in what you say, and that there be no dissensions or factions or divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions and judgments.” 1 Corinthians 1:10 AMPC
The enemy walks about SEEKING whom he may devour- SEEKING a gatekeeper to bribe in order to infiltrate the Church. The enemy listens to how you speak of your brothers. Are you lifting up or tearing down? How do you speak of your leaders? Are you FULLY submitted to the Body? Got a problem? Talk to THAT person. Be aware that the enemy is always seeking a way to tear down the Body of Christ. #runyourrace
