I WAS PRAYING FOR A situation this morning and the Spirit whispers “Be careful of your words and actions. They are keeping a record of wrong”. Now, we should ALWAYS be wise as a serpent and gentle as a dove in all our ways. We may still mess up from time to time. BUT, LOVE keeps no records of wrong.

Have you ever notice that before someone leaves a relationship, they start collecting “evidence” against you? They begin to start making a list of everything you’ve ever done wrong and twisting your words and actions. I can’t tell you how many spouses I’ve counseled and every single time before the one leaves, they start keeping a record of wrongs. Every. Single. Time.

Friend, this is not love and it’s not of God. “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:4-5

‬ ‭Are you keeping a mental list of wrong doings another has done to you? STOP IT! This is selfish and godless behavior. As a former grudge holder and list keeper, this action will come back to bite you in the rear end. Your sin will find you out. It doesn’t meet with God’s approval; He is not in your ways. Master the art of kindness and treat others the way in which Jesus has treated you.  #runyourrace
