IT IS OK TO BE WRONGED. One of the most difficult things for me as a Christian is to let myself be wronged, and do nothing, say nothing about it. I ain’t gonna lie, it’s hard. I’ve gotten better at it, but it still hurts. Christ’s example to us is, “if someone slaps you on one cheek, give him the other as well”. If someone wants your outer tunic, give him your robes. Don’t make someone repay you what you’ve given to them. (Side note: these are for the private person, not a governing body) Here’s why you do not need to take matters in your own hand, “Vengeance is mine, says the LORD”. It’s not your job to mete out justice. This belongs solely to the Lord.

Do you not think that He’s in control? That He sees everything under the sun? That He knows every thought and word of the wicked? And that ONE DAY He will take care of it all?
“The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance; he will bathe his feet in the blood of the wicked. Men will say, Surely there is a reward for the righteous; surely there is a God Who judges on the earth.” Psalm‬ ‭58:10-11‬ ‭

We are in a spiritual battle! Your enemy is not flesh and blood. Pray for those who despitefully use you. Bless your enemies, BLESS and curse not. For you will heap coals upon them in acting righteously. Do not render evil for evil, but repay evil with kindness. Give a gift to a cruel person and watch your heart melt. Difficult? Yes. Impossible? No. For nothing shall be impossible with Him. #runyourrace
